Business Activities Natural Gas transmission is the transportation of natural gas from the producers ’gas fields to the buyers’ receiving stations through high pressure transmission pipeline networks. The Company receives a Toll Fee from the customers for the transportation service. This revenue contributed to 11% of the total operating income in 2008. The major customers with long term Gas Transportation Agreement (GTA) of around 10-20 years are Pertamina, ConocoPhillips and Petrochina. In 2008, the Company operated 2,158 Km of transmission pipeline networks. Transmission pipelines in Medan and BBG were operated by PGN while the Grissik-Duri and Grissik-Singapore transmission pipelines were operated by PT Transportasi Gas Indonesia (TGI), a subsidiary of the Company. During 2008, the Company transported 758 MMScfd of natural gas to its customers, an increase of 3% from that transported in 2007.
